yesterday 27/7/2014. It was a great day
for the music artist and one of the
principal artistes of the Mavin Record, Dr
Sid who went down the aisle with his love
of life Simi Osomo. Surely, all the Marvin
Record team as well as many of Nigerian
Artistes would attend the wedding party
at Ark Event Centre Lekki, Lagos.
The couple ( Dr Sid and Simi) who had
been in a relationship for a long time
decided to cement their relationship in a
marital union. The date of the wedding
ceremony was posted in a social media by
Dr Sid on Wednesday, 2July, 2014. The
plan to tie the knot together did not start
overnight. The music star engaged his
love of life, Simi Osomo in Venice, Italy in
August 2013. As typical of Nigerian
society, Dr Sid did the former traditional
family introduction three months ago and
had announced the date for his wedding
through a social media. Popular Nigerian
music artistes including Don Jazzy, Tiwa
Savage, Iyanya and others were present
during the traditional family introduction.
Before the wedding on 27 July, several
parties associated to the wedding were
organized and held by Dr Sid and Simi at
different places. Simi Osomo entertained
her friends in a bachelorette party that
took place in New York. Dr Sid himself
took his friends to Spain for a bachelor
party. The Marvin music icon left for
Spain on 18, July 2014 with Andrew Esiri
his younger brother, Eddie Kadi and Bizzle
Osikoya. They came back few days before
the actual wedding.
